Singing with the Owls

Nigel was due to park his van early this morning at my house as today he’s travelled n the train to Manchester to see his daughter. As that was unusual I awoke early listening for his van.

I’ve looked out of my window and surprised myself to see his van.

The day started really wet. Winchester Community Choir had been asked to sing for the Christmas event for the Hawk conservancy in Andover. By the evening the skies had cleared. We sang accompanied by a brass band. Between the carols at least four different owls were flown across the arena. It was really cold but seeing them made it all worthwhile.

What an amazing evening.
