59th Wedding Anniversary scones

59 years ago today 19th December 1964 we said I do to each other, haven't regretted one moment. Still together, weathered all the storms life has thrown at us. Like Mr T said today it's a heck of a long time to put up with someone isn't it. Yep it is lol.

As in other years we spent it quietly,  A bit of shopping and a dog walk. We have never made a big thing of it never felt we had to. No family members even remember. My mum was the only one who used to send a card.

If we manage to get to 60 years we might even go out for a meal, who knows.

So I baked a few cherry scones to have with our afternoon cuppa with cream and jam, and we had trifle after tea.

A bit of rain first thing but otherwise a dry day.
