Fiery Eruption …

… seen on TV this evening of a volcano in Iceland. The lava flows were incredibly dramatic, filling the screen for several hours.

The Icelanders are very familiar with these occurrences and have entirely blocked off nearby structures. Past eruptions have sometimes thrown enough dust in the air to seriously disrupt air traffic to the south. I’ve not heard whether that’s possible this time—we’ll see.
