As the use of Al grows more widespread, the issue of whether or not to use in classrooms becomes more and more relevant. Some people argue that AI in classrooms streamlines the teaching process and provide special attention to students that teachers can't spare time for; for example, auto-grading essays or aiding students with learning disabilities. Some education experts even argue that Al could replare teachers by 2027. But will the transition to teaching really happen so quickly?

Some argue that there are tasks performed by teachers that Al cannot match them in; for example, figuring out exactly what a student needs or why they are struggling through talking to them. Leading AI researcher Rose Luckin believes that machine learning won’t ever be able to fully replace a human teacher.

Considering this, I believe that a collaborative role for Al would have a massive positive impact on our classrooms.
