A meeting with the sister for the first time this year which is pretty ridiculous. We must try harder. Anyway, this is the Aroma Cafe in Biggar where we sat and blethered for a couple of hours and then exchanged our Christmas presents.
What about this Michelle Mone woman and her objectionable husband though? At last, I think the nation can unite in its disgust at this odious couple with their money grubbing and lies. This lot really need cleared out; our whole politics is demeaned by their presence.

There's a memorial service for Alistair Darling today.
 In a eulogy that followed tributes from close friends and his children, Anna and Calum, the shadow chancellor, Rachel Reeves, described Darling as her mentor, a man of great integrity whose "decency, honesty and shrewd judgment represented the very best of our politics".
 
The differences between these people couldn't be more stark, and yet some idiots like to claim, "they're all the same."
They really aren't.
