Gas service restored

A cold wet day spent hanging around in M for the Gas Engineer. Luckily he did agree to put the new gas supply via the hall cupboard to the central heating boiler, rather than into the sitting room as per the quote. That would have been very ugly. After 3 cold hours, and several cups of tea, he got the heating to work. Relief. Although the front bedroom carpet is a mess after being lifted to lay the gas supply under the floorboards.
