Oystercatcher territory

You know when you have encroached into Oystercatcher territory. The pair of them fly around you calling frantically and trying to draw your attention from whatever there might be on the ground. Although I am sure they do it all the year round just to confuse, even if they have no young around.

Notice the blue sky. When the weather comes good up here in Wester Ross it is glorious. Far too nice for hillwalking.
