Elf

Graham, the other half of the house I am staying in, has man flu. Today he and Sue were meant to be meeting friends for a Christmas meal and catch up, but he just didn’t feel up to it. I was co-opted into filling his seat as the meal had already been paid for, so once more I enjoyed a delicious meal, met their friends and came home not wishing to see another meal for few days!
Had to take a nap on my return as it had been a cold drive home.
The clock showed what time we left! The Elf was behaving thankfully!
