Lexi quite often lies like this. 

I had a phone call in the morning offering me an outpatient appointment this evening, which I was glad to get. There have been a couple of aborted attempts at this, both cancelled by the hospital, but this one did actually happen and it was in Edinburgh, the last one being at St John's Hospital in Livingston which is a pain to get to by public transport from Edinburgh, and you can't rely on getting a parking space. There seems to be a concerted effort to catch up with outpatient appointments at the moment, which is great.
