More Bees please

A relatively frantic day (Tuesday's always are) rounded off with a mountain biking expedition with the Scouts, unfortunately I hadn't thought about the midges we'd encounter so now I look like I have a funny case of chicken pox, localised to just above my knees annd the top of my arms. for some reason the bitey little buggers went for where my clothing met my flesh. Wifey thinks it's because that was where the skin was warmest and blood vessels were closest to the skin, hence ripe for midges to to attack.

Anyway - back to the blip - I know - I already gave you a bee this week, but today I had a go with natural light rather than flash and was pleasantly surprised because last time I tried I didn't get this much success. But today, significantly brighter, allowed me to get my settings a little closer to where i want them to be.

I was also reckless today and ordered my first bit of 'L' glass. So tomorrow my 70-200 F/2.8 will arrive. I'm so dizzy with anticipation it's ridiculous :-)
