My lovely Pilates teacher……..

………..this afternoon. It was a very depleted class as only six of us were there. She gave us all a little gift afterwards.
My friend Thierry then came for a pre Christmas visit, having a coffee and a catch up. Good to be able to have a conversation in French with him in person.He is off to Grenoble on Saturday for Christmas to see his mum, and his sister and family. His mum is now in a Maison de Retraite and was 96 years old in October.
We exchanged gifts before he left to go home again.
The day has galloped by once more!
Another friend of ours who works in A&E and manages a team, has just left having had her tea with us. She arrived after her shift at 7:00pm, and told us it was really tough today as the Junior Doctors’ strike affected their ability to deal with urgent cases arriving and needing to be assessed.
