There's nothing like having visitors to push one into getting lots of little jobs done. I've spent the day 'snagging' and finishing little bits of filling, painting and tidying. Lots of those jobs could easily be left without the motivation of family coming to see our progress.

Jodie and Hayley bought us this picture of Mevagissey for our Golden wedding back in August. It's where we went on honeymoon .... Back in the day, before the M5 it took us  about 7  hours to drive there, and as was the tradition back in those days, we left the wedding reception half was through to travel. How much more sensible is todays way of enjoying the party, or even the whole weekend!, then going away.
