Kirkstone Pass

After spending yesterday in the caravan as the weather was so bad, Sal and I took advantage of the break in the weather.
We headed down St John’s in The Vale to the Lodge In the Vale for a delicious coffee. We came back over The Kirkstone Pass where the clouds broke and the sun made an appearance.
It was still bitterly cold but it felt good just to be out and taking a few photos. This is looking back down the pass towards Windermere.
Took Sal back to the caravan and I popped into Penrith to get something for tea.
