In other years I have received red lilies from a friend. A lovely gift whichever colour.

Simon took my call to Valerie this morning. She’d rung him very distressed and he’d come straight round. Today Tim has worked from V & N’s home as understandably she feels safer with someone else in the house. No more days or nights on her own either and she hasn’t refused. Tomorrow a palliative care nurse will actually visit.

A food shop this afternoon after a promised delivery happened within minutes of the time slot given. All gifts safely gathered in.
