Dribs and Drabs of 2014

By RodgerEvans01

Really, 10 degrees difference???

After the Sunday car show we headed to Crescent Beach on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. We wanted to let the dogs run and play after being tied to us for a few hours in the heat. The temp in Bridgewater (20 min from the beach) was 22-24C with a slight breeze. When we got to the beach, completely underdressed in shorts and t's, the temp on the dash said 12C. There was a gale coming off the water, and it was high tide. We decided to walk anyway. It was cold, sand was being driven into our skin, but the dogs had fun.

This guy had fun too! I decided we should walk down far enough to see what the parachute was in the distance. It ended up being this paraborder. He and a couple of sailboarders were taking advantage of the wind and waves in a lagoon behind the beac. Looked like fun, but I bet it was f'in cold!!!!
