Gone to see Kate Rusby

BACK BLIP
Lucky to get last minute tickets to see Kate Rusby in concert in Cambridge. It was her Christmas tour, delayed since 2020 because of covid. She sang Yorkshire versions of well known carols and other not so well known songs. Very nice evening, Kate has a wonderful voice
The blip is one of the bars of a pub in Cambridge that we visited pre concert, the Eagle. This pub is famous for a couple of things. Firstly all the graffiti on its walls inside, mostly written by RAF as well as other service personnel going back to www2. All the walls and even the ceilings are covered with it. The second claim to fame of the Eagle is it was here in 1953 that Mr. Crick and Mr. Watson announced they had "discovered" DNA. That was something for the locals to chat about on a cold winters evening.
I took this shot because of the large selection of spirits available, especially whiskeys and, my preferred tipple, gin.
I did not spot it at the time but the small bottle of blue liquid just to the left of the ice bucket is a very interesting addition to any alcohol selection
