Rainbow Clouds

An early start for us this morning - driving to Doncaster to pick up daughter from the garage where she took her car for service and MOT. On the way I spotted these bright rainbow clouds. Grabbed a quick phone shot through the windscreen!

Obviously Mrs madwill was driving :-)

Nacreous clouds or ‘mother-of-pearl’ formations occur very high in the atmosphere in very cold air. They are quite rare in the UK but were seen across West, North and South Yorkshire today.

After meeting at the garage we went to a cafe for breakfast then some shopping.

Back to daughter’s house for coffee and lunch and there was a list of jobs awaiting me! Installed new doorbell/camera, a solar powered light and a new house number plaque.
