Cinereous Vulture (Aegypius monachus); The cinereous vulture is a large raptor in the family Accipitridae and distributed through much of temperate Eurasia. It is also known as the black vulture, monk vulture and Eurasian black vulture. These two live with others at the Zoo in Milwaukee.

Wingspan is 8 to 10 feet (2.4-3m); Adult females 17-31 pounds (7.7-14kg); males 14-25 pounds (6.4-11kg). They are primarily scavengers. In the wild the population is Threatened and decreasing.
