A reminder to self

Yesterday we had some probably bad news about a friend and today it was confirmed.

A friend who suffers from ulcerative colitis had been admitted to hospital a few days ago with flare up. The hospital checked up when it didn’t seem to be improving and discovered cancer - just about everywhere! She has been sent home for Christmas ready for palliative care in January! She is in her 40’s with two young children.
Today I just feel broken
