Calm After the Storm

The wind was not quite as fierce as originally forecast although it did touch 70mph for a while. The sea in this photo looks calm but as this is the sheltered side of the isle as soon as you get to Sumburgh Head there will be a big swell.
Now we have a weather warning for snow and ice!!
We'll see what the solstice brings tomorrow for us travellers.
