Bregaglia

We drove mid morning to Chiavenna to do the food shopping in Italy for the coming festive days. The blip is when driving down the Bregaglia valley with the Albignia dam in front. Important water and winter energy production.

The purchases at the Fishmonger and Iperal (fruit and vegetable) filled the trunk. Coffee and chocolate at Mastai and with a full Diesel tank back home. Also a few bottles of Franciacorta found their way in our bags.

On the way home visiting the vet (Clinica Alpina in Celerina) to get to know them and book the first check up / vaccination appointment mid February, and last but not least going to the butcher in La Punt to buy some beef and lamb from their own farm. Interesting is that game meet is also labelled with the name who the hunter was. We usually buy pieces from the few people who hunt and we know. Nothing available today though.

Fingers crossed that we get loads of fresh snow tomorrow.
