Snug

Spent the morning doing financial housekeeping and some ironing-very tedious, but good to get it crossed off my To Do list.
After lunch popped down for a cup of tea with LE…she was very pleased with the throw I’d knitted. We chatted about her recent trip to Sri Lanka-sounds like she had a brilliant time and her photos were lovely.
On the way home I picked up some tickets for the ballet next month and browsed the bookshop again to top up on some presents then picked up some food shopping and came home. Made chicken in cider and cream for supper and put a ham on to boil, then chatted to A on her way home as she tries to manage having N’s parents staying for the holidays.
Wrapped more presents whilst I watched Maestro film. Great acting, and a lot of smoking!
