CHRISTMAS STUFF…

While waiting all morning for a doctor’s call I managed to get some presents sorted and wrapped.
Quick doctor’s appointment then onto friends (LWL) for present exchange, mince pies and a cuppa.
Rush onto to tutor (last one of the year!!)
Quick dash onto hospital for carols around the ward. We went into the prem baby unit to sing Silent Night and Away in a Manger. The staff on the labour ward loved it and came out from various rooms to join in. The ward sister said they have had a hard week and it was just what they needed. On ITU the patients are so vulnerable but the staff agreed it was fine and we had requests from relatives and patients. Some of the staff joined in with great gusto.

Good to bring some cheer and hope.
