A human head
A wee lunchtime wander round the poets walk in Edinburgh Park.
Edwin Morgan looks rather stern here, but it's mostly the weather I think.
The poem, 'A human head' was a new one to me.
But at this time of year I often think of 'The Summons', with its wonderful first line: "the year was ending, and the land lay still".
What a writer.
