Things Can Only Get Brighter

I know we won’t see it getting lighter for a while but I love that today was the shortest day of the the year. It’s also the anniversary of when Mr P and I started going out (37 years ago).
In the morning we braved the wind and rain and walked up to the Hydro. After lunch with son no 3, we went to look at a couple of possible rental properties and then drove back up to Edinburgh airport. This time to pick up son no 1 (Dan) who was seeing his girlfriend off on a flight home to Ireland. We headed back to Peebles via Aldi and Decathlon. 2 down, 1 to go.
