Great Blue Heron

I had one chance this evening to blip foto a pileated woodpecker on our outer deck but he flew away too soon. Someday I will get him. I blipped my parakeet, Dirty Bird, just before he hopped on my camera but the camera sort of shook. I was going to blip the fish I was cooking on our grill but for some reason the picture did not take. Just as I was about to give up, this heron flew in and perched in the top of our neighbors fir tree. Wow. he was awesome. So I blipped him. Yes, I did have to zoom in but there he is. I have taken pictures of the heron landing here before but I think this is the best one so far.
