Willow Sunset
Wonderful light at the end of a sunny day. As the sun set, warm light bounced off the ice. I chose a spot under the willow tree to get the best of it, just out of the sun's direct glare. The sun goes down much further south at this time of year, almost down the length of the lake.
Moments earlier, I saw an eagle sitting out on the ice. I managed a couple of shots, but annoyingly it looked the other way as I pressed the shutter. Before I had another chance, it took flight across the lake. I panned to get the extra, but with too slow a shutter for a sharp image.
Extras:
Quick Draw. Said eagle.
Solidified. The result of yesterday's wind and frigid conditions.
