Sleeping

I convinced myself that this boulder on the skyline was a sleeping figure, and that in silhouette against the sun it might provide some sort of winter solstice image…

But then discovered that I was a (Gregorian calendar) day early for solstice this year, as it falls in the early hours of the 22nd. Perhaps my Roman nosed boulder friend observes the Julian calendar anyway.
