……………………..Kaiteriteri Beach, NZ



It was surprisingly empty today so we enjoyed the peace and quiet along with a refreshing swim. 

The distant beach is Kaiteriteri, considered the main beach with the popular camping ground, shop, restaurant etc.

All too soon they will be utterly crowed as holiday makers flock to these two popular beaches for Christmas and their summer holiday or as day visitors.


The cloudy weather is deceptive - it was 26C as we drove through Riwaka and 24.5C at the beach. Warm and humid days at the moment, but at least it isn’t quite so windy.
