Yet another run in the dark before work. And once more, a photograph of a mural on (or near) K Road predates the All Fresco festival which stimulated me to start looking again for great street art.

On 01 April 2013, Paul Walsh completed this mural on a wall in K Road. Six weeks later he repainted the words because (in his own words on his facebook page) "some loser tagged" the original. Looking at the original and this, the tagging must have been on the words. Walsh indicated that he was happier with the way he has done the words in this second version.

Although I considered cropping the photograph, I have left it as I framed it, which includes a little of the setting. The taggers have struck again; perhaps carefully avoiding the essence of the mural. Lennon and the words from Borrowed Time are as shown on his facebook page after the repair.
