Stormy weather

Woke with the alarm this morning and promptly reached across and batted it off! With winds approaching 70mph battering the house, it hadn't been the best night's sleep. So it was a late start, requiring lashings of coffee to get us going!

The storm abated slightly during the day, but not enough for either of us to feel inclined to get out for a walk in horizontal rain. Today's step count was the worst ever! A day to catch up with household chores and, in the evening, when MrM had ventured out to a music session, wrapping Christmas gifts.

The only photo I took sums up the day nicely, though it gives no indication of the storm force winds howling round the house...
