Winter Solstice

I wasn't out early enough this morning to see the sun rise on Dartmoor and when I left home it was overcast with a fine drizzle. The main image shows the edge of Burrator reservoir taken under a grey sky. Later,  on the top of Sheeps Tor there were a few minutes of weak sunshine (1st Extra). The second extra shows the steep, eastern side of Sheeps Tor. There are sometimes climbers here, but not today. I was glad to be out and away from the traffic and Christmas crowds for a while!
