Orchid

This orchid was a gift from the villagers who visited us on Tuesday. I'm delighted with it as I love orchids and our window sills were looking a little bare! So it's my offering for Flower Friday, perfect for a miserable wet day. (Discovered the wild winds of late have blown out two greenhouse windows, smashing one of them. Though my going to inspect the damage did serve as a reminder to water my sweet pea seedlings, so that was useful.) Thanks to FF host Anni. 

I think this is the shortest day this year, so we can look forward to days gradually drawing out again. Hoorah!
