The winter solstice funeral

Took this picture after the coffin was put into the ground. We walked back to the church and had a memorial dinner near by.

It was quite a big country funeral with about 100 people.

Quite trying day. Sad but beautiful.

I woke up at 5:15 and so ready for bed at this point.

Tomorrow we’ll drive back home.
