A bit of the canal

where we walked this afternoon. The water level is a lot higher than a week or two ago.

We tried to go to Wellington this morning but the traffic queues were so bad we turned around and came back. We went back after the walk and it was quieter thank goodness.

In between I managed to get some work done and some presents wrapped. I also started my annual letter to our American cousins - so not a bad day really.
