Mailänderli

Last working day before Christmas and in the evening we baked Mailänderli at home, i.e. the here well-known Christmas biscuits. 

The name Mailänderli has to do with Milano (Mailand in German) and an interpretation of the origin can be found here. Even better than the origin of the word, however, is the recipe. And even better than that is when you get to eat the Mailänderli.
