Hursthole point, Bassenthwaite.

Another day of high winds and storms in the Lakes. The rain battered the house all day, but looking out to Bassenthwaite, there did seem to be slightly better weather. Mid afternoon I braved the trip, but could hardly stand up on the lakeside, the wind was so strong. As soon as I put the tripod up it blew over (no camera attached). 

Eventually I did manage about 20 photos, this was the only sharp one, such was the strength of the wind.
