Some things never change
The Agenda for the Day
We woke up and had a traditional birthday breakfast, including presents and speeches.
We gathered everything together and made trips to all the different places that the progressive party was occurring while throwing up a lot of prayers that the rain would stay back... then we sat in the car and waited for the rain to pass.
We went to the beach, rented 4 beach baskets and set up a tent where we could pull a plastic cover over if it started raining. Then we began the 30th birthday celebration on the beach with Prosecco and a couple of cases of beer kept cold in the water.
We took our jackets on an off as the sun came in and out of the clouds, and then finally we ducked for cover under the well set up tent when the monsoon (gross exaggeration) came.
Then we went to the water ski park and, I kid you not, we skied on an electric track that runs around a lake. I have decided that it's weird to ski behind anything but a boat.
THEN we went to the retreat center and built a couple of fires cooked a bunch of wurst and went to bed at around 5 this morning just in time for breakfast at 9.
This is a picture of Vali chasing Christoph... it reminded me of Thursdays shot, except these two are grown ups. HA.
