Nipped down to town early to get the last couple of (uninspired!) presents before going to the Board meeting. Lot to discuss and some interesting swapping of the ‘hats’ people wore at various points, but helped along by coffee and home made Christmas cake that J brought in.
Afterwards we went for lunch on the top floor of Harvey Nicks…great views despite it being a rather dull day weather wise. Took quite a long time to be served but had a lovely chat to J and D and once it arrived the food was good.
I’d not planned on such a chunk of the day getting used up and felt weary at what needed to be done when I finally got home at 3.30pm. Also felt a bit odd…achey and under the weather. Ended up having a sleep between making the beds, making some Christmas chutney and packing stuff ready to leave tomorrow. Given what’s happened to Winsford I did a Covid test but it was negative, but certainly don’t feel myself. Ended up having an early night…tomorrow’s going to be a very long day
