SNOWMAN HUNTING

We spent the morning doing Christmas jobs. Delivering bottles of wine and presents. I made; yet another, effort to reconnect with our Ukrainian family. So much has changed for them…some difficult things and some long term will be ok. I was able to be a brave and be a little more blunt about this being the final “olive branch”. Think this time my message was heard and understood.

Then we went on our snowman hunt around Fleet Street in London. We decided to take Daisy too!!
We stopped for lunch in the Christmas market at London Bridge…tasty Korean chicken…then walked to the Snowmen! We were exhausted before we started!!! :)))
We did it backwards only missing out 2 turtle doves…no idea where that was!!!
We stopped for coffee halfway (sneaking Daisy into a cafe without being spotted!!)
After lots of miss direction (thanks Google Maps) we were glad to sing…and a Partridge in a Pear Tree!!!
We then had to walk another 20 minutes on a very very very special mission the Rev had to sort ?!?!?! No idea.
We enjoyed a crepe in the Leicester Square Christmas market and were glad of a glass of wine and a pint of beer to end our excursion!!!
Home by 8:30…,all 3 of us absolutely zapped but happy to have done something Christmassy for ourselves.

Time together = the best Christmas present
