I had a lovely lunch with my old friends at The Wood Workshop. It was the Late Mate's tradition to take us out for Christmas brunch and Mark has continued it. We have a new restaurant in town called Artruro's , part of a chain but quite different to anything in Penrith, with it's elaborately overdone décor.

Back home there was packing to do and a late night baking job. I know #2 Daughter can buy dairy and citrus free biscuits in the shops but I like to make her feel I care by baking. Tomorrow they will be boxed and gift-wrapped
