Grey Heron

Another easy day! Six Heron met me at the gate got sorted out 3 on one side of the path and 3 on the other, to start with, then the little female (pictured) chased the young male a bit further away. He in turn chased one of the new ones onto the path. I was feeding them when I spotted a couple with a dog, they came off the path and across the slope to avoid us. After I got them fed I made for the clearing followed by the young male and the little female. The adult male was waiting at the clearing so I fed him giving a little bit more to the other 2.
The crows wiped me out today had to break their biscuits in two and still ran out before the end of the road.
