Wet Links

We packed up and left the cottage, heading back into the maelstrom of pre-Xmas Edinburgh. Actually Leith wasn't too bad - managed to get to the market, although couldn't take the queue for the veg stall. Then took the car back. On my way home from Seafield it came on to rain quite heavily and there was a biting wind from the west (so into my face the way I was going). I only paused very briefly to take a snap across the Links - in the immediate foreground there's a bit of the community orchard, mid ground is the new arboretum plantings and the distant fairy lights are a reminder that M & S's downstairs neighbour is still selling his Xmas trees out the front of their building.
