Beautiful and Blooming

We have spent the day with Jon's family in Melbourn. A full house, a rare day as EVERYONE was there. So 20 of us in total including the little one...and as you can see by Sophie's huge bump, soon to be 21!

We all sorted out our own food, plus I took 24 mince pies to bake, which we had with our tea, and Daniel and Viki had made very tasty chocolate tray bakes. After dinner, we played a game and opened presents. We all buy for one other person - a kind of secret santa as names are pulled from a hat in November. But not so secret when we give out the presents. We all got what we wanted!

Jon's sisters and families all left around 4.30, then Mollie and Henry too, but Jon and I and Dan and Viki stayed a bit longer to chat. The little one kept us all entertained. Nearly 2 is such a lovely age, but I don't envy Sophie having 2 under 2 in a few short weeks. Watch this space for news of baby boy number two.

We are now on our way home. Looking forward to a relaxing day of films tomorrow and our first snowball when Viki has finished work.
