Cycling
It was a southwest wind. Force 4. We first cycled west to Hasselt in Belgium for lunch. We were halfway through the route in Hasselt and were looking forward to the cycle highway to the north with backwind.
The westerly wind turned out to be stronger than the one from the south and I soon started to look forward to an oliebol at the oliebollen stall at the station in Weert.
Once in Weert, the oliebollen stall appeared to have closed its awning.
Still, we are satisfied with this cycling day. We are not very enthusiastic about tomorrow, the way back, but perhaps the wind will have reduced in force and the rain will not be too bad. We have a coffee date in Thorn and want to have lunch in Maaseik. We are easy to please.
