Beach therapy

Busy day! I was at the supermarket by 7.30am while it was quiet, then into town for a few last gifts.

Happy to meet H for a long beach walk in the breezy, drizzly, beautiful sea air. Followed by coffee and a mince pie. Her family arrived for Christmas today and her little granddaughter took her first steps. That’s a nice Christmas present!

I then went back into town to help daughter J choose some clothes for her New Year trip away. It was surprisingly successful (that must be a first) and something we rarely do together, so it was nice.

Almost 20k steps overall and I am feeling it this eve!
