Dogwood

Christmas even comes to the garden - the bright sun this morning really lit up the dogwood stems and I love the jumble of straight lines with the fence behind.

It’s been a mild day with lots of sun while we’ve been beetling around meeting friends, cooking and wrapping gifts. Lovely youngest son Joe visited this morning armed with a huge bag of delicious breads and pastries - he’s a baker so I’m the lucky recipient of all sorts of goodies. My mum will be exhausted after all this and it’s only day 1…
