We went to see the wee family for an hour. Their ongoing refurbishment project has involved new replacement windows, CR Smith have been in much of the week. Made a lovely job. Their dog went to “the in-laws” to be out the way. Now back home, she was demonstrating her ability to steal socks. And more. Managed to get her to sit beside our older son’s Christmas tree.

Tesco Home delivery fulfilled our Christmas order and a couple of items ordered online were collected from Marks and Spencer’s.

School term has finished. Teachers in the family breathed a sigh of relief.
