Christmas drink

Went to a local hotel for a drink this evening with a school friend visiting from New York, was lovely, really lovely. The hotel had done well with the decorations, including this in the reception. 

Day spent starting to get ready for Christmas.  This included a trip to the library amd cleaning the car. Not sure why either of things make the 'before Christmas list' but they did. Boys love the library and the eldest came home and started reading his book straight away, love it! 

The boys held a 'stake out' in the living room this afternoon, not sure why they did, but we weren't allowed in and it's an utter tip, however they had fun!
