Wonderful Christmas Time . . . Paul McCartney

We went out to sister in laws so Finn could have a ride on the ride on mower.  He started in the trailer  but then sat up with Daddy and had his hands on the steering wheel.  Great fun.  He still hasn't seen Harry who is a bit younger and the son of Daddy's cousin Katie.  Harry is having a nap each time we call round.  He enjoyed playing with Harry's toys.
The lovely daughter has had a fraught day at Auckland Airport. Four flights were cancelled due to low cloud here in Nelson.  She waited at the airport until 2.pm to find out there is a flight being put on and she should get here at 5.30pm.  A stiff drink will be waiting for her.
While at the sister in laws the Forester picked more of the luscious cherries.  They are even more dark and meaty than the first time we got some.  Our late brother in law would have been so pleased with them this year.  I have put them into a small crystal bowl I took from him when they were having a clean out of excess items.  I think I will have a stiff gin later when the ham is safely cooked.
